Aceitunas Sevillanas S.A. is a division of Medina Garvey Group and has been in the olive business for over 80 years. We own and operate one of Spain’s largest olive farms.
Because Aceitunas Sevillanas is a vertically-integrated olive company and maintains the tree-to-store olive process in-house, we are able to guarantee supply, premium quality, and competitive pricing. Our vast olive groves are located on an elevated plateau next to Seville, called Aljarafe, where the finest table olives are grown. The farm has over 100,000 olive trees, with the potential of growing 6.5 million pounds of olives (Manzanillas and Queen varieties). Centuries of short rainy winters and long sunny summers have nourished the best and most consistent olive trees in Spain. We handpick the olives right after the first rains in September and October. |

Aceitunas Sevillanas supplies both green and ripe olives (Holiblanca) for the retail, foodservice, and industrial sectors of the U.S. Market. Our main market, with 80% of total sales, is the United States. We are one of the top five exporters of Spanish olives to North America. Our other markets include Spain, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Venezuela, and Australia. Aceitunas Sevillanas S.A. continues to invest in the expansion and improvement of the packing facility. Because we do all of our packing in Spain, there is virtually no pimento fall-out.

Our own quality control is absolute, but we insist on an optional and stringent inspection by the European Economic Community. There is a further inspection by Soivre, the Spanish FDA. They’re very particular, because olives are crucial to the Spanish economy. Because of Europe's high quality inspection standards, even the tough U.S. Customs and FDA inspections are not a problem.
